Blue Wall

There goes Patrick, diving a crevice during our first dive today. We have eagerly waited for the weather and dive crew (a small group rather than a full boat of mixed skill levels) to work out so that we could dive Blue Wall. Today was the day!

The captain (who has the final word on where he drives the boat) said yes, the weather was acceptable, and the dive crew was just us; Jörg, Patrick, and me (and our dive guide and friend Werner, of course).

Blue Wall is so spectacular because it is a deep dive (120-130') that usually provides near perfect visibility, and fabulous views of an immense coral wall. The wild surface action today (huge waves) did little to dampen the effects of this wonderful dive spot.
